The story is about Dr. Peter Elliot, who develops a system to teach a gorilla lady named Amy how to speak. Due to Amy’s health, Dr. Elliot decides to bring her back to her homeland Congo. This expensive trip is financed by a dubious businessman and a communication scientist. Both are only looking for their advantages. The businessman suspects a diamond mine in Amy’s homeland and the scientist searches there for a lost colleague. At the finish line, the team finds the diamond mine, but it is defended by a specially bred, very aggressive gorilla species. There follows a battle between gorillas and humans, which the humans can just win for themselves. The gorilla lady Amy joins a gorilla group in her old homeland, and the survivors of the people start their way home.
The Congo has a great cinematic sound. The task of the player is to start the diamond search to collect points. The aggressive gorillas try to hinder the player in his search. By unlocking the second playing surface, which is visible through a small window, the player can defeat the gorillas and continue his search. Besides the unpleasant gorillas, the player has to adapt to other nasty jungle inhabitants, like poisonous snakes, to survive his adventure undamaged. A special feature on the playing surface is the volcano. During an outbreak, multiballs pour over the playing surface. The Dot Matrix Display offers the player a branched cave system and a boat ride across a wild river.
The great thing about this exciting adventure in the Congolese jungle is that even less experienced players will get their money’s worth, as the game system explains itself. So there’s no time to lose and immerse yourself in this action-packed adventure.
