Godzilla (Pro) Pinball Machine (Stern, 2021)

This is a very nice machine. This Godzilla pinball machine has several mods installed:

• GODZILLA In this monster-packed pinball adventure, players become Godzilla! The evil aliens, the Xiliens, use mind-control beams to take over the monsters King Ghidorah, Gigan, Megalon, Ebirah, and Titanosaurus. The Xiliens demand all of Earth’s resources. Godzilla and his allies Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus fight against the Xilien invasion with the goal of conquering Mechagodzilla to become King of the Monsters! With the Godzilla multiball, chaos and destruction unfold on the playfield, starting with one of the various shots into and through the centrally located skyscraper.

In the Premium and LE models, a motor drives the skyscraper, which, when collapsing, guides the balls through each of its five floors and ultimately locks three balls on the roof. The Premium/LE playfield also features a collapsible bridge ramp.

This animated breakaway ramp is guarded by a specially molded Godzilla and can redirect pinballs back to the flipper or directly onto the playfield during Bridge Attack multiball. In the Premium and LE models, Mechagodzilla has a motorized three-target bank that rotates to reveal a spinner and jump ramp. Players will engage in battle with Kaiju by launching pinballs with the jump ramp onto the magnet on his chest to start the Mechagodzilla multiball.

All models of the Godzilla pinball machines feature an innovative magnetic Newton ball “Magna Grab,” capable of catching pinballs from five different shot paths, even from outside the jump. This device can also redirect balls to set up shots from the upper left flipper. The game also includes the iconic title song “Godzilla” by Blue Oyster Cult, stunning hand-drawn artwork by Zombie Yeti, intricate wire ramps, three rotating targets (Heat Ray, Mechagodzilla, and Monster Rampage), three flippers, three “Powerline” drop targets, and a UFO pop bumper. The game highlights video and audio from ten* Godzilla films from the Toho Showa era to create a unique immersive Godzilla pinball experience.

Godzilla pinball machines also debut Stern’s Insider Connected system, which includes a QR code reader on the bottom apron that allows players to interact with the game and this new network in various ways. Stern Insider Connected offers new entertainment and player engagement features as well as an operator-focused toolset to promote location play and manage every aspect of the machines remotely. Insider Connected goes live with the launch of Godzilla, with full functionality scheduled for rollout over the next year.

Only 1,000 LE machines will be available. The LE version includes an exclusive full-color mirrored backglass inspired by Mechagodzilla, iconic custom cabinet artwork, custom high-gloss metallic silver powder-coated pinball armor, a designer-signed lower apron, exclusive inside side art, an upgraded audio system, anti-reflective pinball playfield glass, shaker motor, a sequentially numbered plaque, and a certificate of authenticity.“In partnership with Toho, we have brought the Godzilla universe to pinball,” said Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball, Inc. “Insider Connected allows players, owners, and operators to interact with their machines like never before.”
