CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON (CFTBL) The machine was developed under license from Universal Pictures in 1992 and is based on the novel by British author John Russell Fearn. It was made into a film in the USA in 1954 and was released in German as “The Terror From The Amazon”. This classic film is the main theme in this 3D pinball machine. It appears in an American drive-in cinema at the end of the 1950s. Numerous details from the 1950s can be found on the pinball machine, and various rock’n’roll soundtracks are played during the game. The main plot is that the player has to find and rescue the girl who is in the power of a creature that is half human and half amphibian. This creature appears in the lagoon in a colored 3D mirror hologram built into the playing surface when the player has the appropriate number of points.
