THE WHO’s TOMMY PINBALL WIZARD: Rock opera Tommy, newly performed on Broadway New York, style and trend of the 70s, masterfully implemented and played in this pinball machine. Tommy, the title of the 1969 album by the British rock band THE WHO, tells the story of the deaf, blind, and mute Tommy Walker, which is excellently combined in this ingeniously styled pinball machine with graphics and many technical features. Capt. Walker’s plane, whose wingspan extends across the entire width of the playing field, activates both propeller engines when the corresponding number of points is reached. The retractable mirror and the unique feature of the black blinds, two fan blinds that interactively cover the pinball fingers during the game, are unmistakable features along with the British flashy-colored layout. Original soundtracks from the 1975 film of the same name, almost all of which were composed by Pete Townshend, ensure an open-air concert feeling during the game. A must for every classic rock lover.
